The Lapis lazuli pendant stone shows flashes of the blue, white and tan of the beads in this necklace. The oval beads are lapis, the white beads are river stone and the tan beads are picture jasper. The necklace is 20 inches long and is finished with a toggle and ring closure. This is another example of what happened when I figured out how to work with blue. I now have several lapis pieces and I have found that it compliments quite a few other stones.

 In addition to being beautiful, lapis is an interesting stone in that it is considered to bring mental clarity and highlight creativity.
